SLO CAL Roots is a family-owned cannabis company on California's Central Coast. We grow our own cannabis, we run our own stores, and we've been part of this community since before dispensaries were a thing. Three locations: San Luis Obispo, Grover Beach, and Root One in Guadalupe. Two farms. One team. Smoke Local. Shop Local. Not Corporate.
We honor the cannabis plant and everything it can do for the health and vibrancy of our community, so when it comes to our own SLO Cal Roots brand, we grow it ourselves, right here on the Central Coast. It's grown sustainably, sourced ethically, and held to a standard we never compromise, and that's why we can stand behind everything that carries our name.

Where it all started
Our greatest asset is our people, both our team and our customers. Every visit is meant to feel personal: someone takes the time to listen, to understand what you're looking for, and to make sure you walk out feeling cared for.
Many of our staff grew up right here on the Central Coast. You're talking with a neighbor who knows the plant, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
We're genuinely passionate about cannabis and everything it can do to make life better. That passion pushes us to carry only the highest quality products and to share what we know, because we believe a big part of our job is helping people understand the plant.
We're also committed to normalizing cannabis and breaking down the old stigmas around it, so everyone, no matter where they're starting from, can explore its benefits openly.

Our stores are more than just places to buy cannabis. We've built each one to feel like a welcoming extension of home: comfortable, warm, and easy to be in. A lot of that comes from how much we love this place: the Central Coast, and the towns we're part of, from San Luis Obispo to Grover Beach to Guadalupe.
From the moment you walk in, whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, we want you to feel like you belong. This is where relationships grow and the character of our communities gets to shine through.
Our cannabis is grown on California's Central Coast, under the sun, in 100% custom-mixed organic living soil, fed by spring water. Every plant is slow-cured and hand-trimmed with no pesticides or growth hormones. We currently have two farms in Nipomo and Los Osos. Both on the coast, in the same hills the SLO CAL Roots family has been farming since 2003. The same care that goes into growing goes into everything on our shelves.
